Quick Review

hiphone-3g2I believe that it was the HiPhone i32 that first created respect in the world of the clones.  Yes, the P168 started it all, but the HiPhone showed the world that the first iClone wasn’t just a one hit wonder and that additional features (like shake and tilt) were possible.

But, as much as the novelty as the i32 was, there was room for improvement.  It was only a tri band.  It did not support Java.  And the memory was only 2GB.  Also, it was a bit bigger and bulky.

However, the new HiPhone 3G addresses these things.  This phone has the rounded edges that makes it look like the iPhone 3G.  It is expandable of up to 16GB.  It supports Java.  It has MANY more icons and you can arrange them with your fingers and move them all around. Bascially any application on the phone can have it’s own icon - YouTube, Weather, Photos, Stocks, Gmail, Facebook, etc.

Sometimes, you can find them in red or white.  This is a really cool phone.  Right now, they are some on Ebay.  This is where I suggest you get them because you can read feedback from other buyers to see how satisfied they were.  This ensures that you only buy from sellers with superb customer experiences.   Right out of the box and brand new, these aren’t priced too badly.  You can run a real time search to see what is available on Ebay by clicking here.  If you are not a member of Ebay, you can sign up here for free.  You may also want to scroll down to check out the photos, specs, and video.  (Affiliate Disclaimer)

Video

Here is a video of the HiPhone 3G. I know the music is a little weird and the writing is in Chinese, but you can set the language to whatever Country you’re in. And, this video gives a good feel of the flow touch and the nice intuitive interface.
